The Oscar W story - history, community and the heart of a festival

The paddle steamer Oscar W was built in 1908 and has a long history on the Murray River. It is owned by Alexandrina Council and operated by the Friends of Oscar W who maintain, preserve and activate this historic vessel. This passionate and dedicated group of volunteers have taken part in a short film to share their stories. These stories tell our region's history across generations of how we have created thriving and energetic communities that make the Alexandrina region so welcoming and distinct.
